Reto Pulfer (Berna, Switzerland, 1981) lives and works in Uckermark, Germany. He creates immersive installations using fabric, plants, drawings, painting and a variety of found objects. His artistic practice explores different conditions of changeability, combining textile, pictorial, botanic elements and natural materials in order to give life to installations and performances. Often inspired by the surrounding environment of Uckermark, Pulfer uses available materials at hand to examine the relationship between humanity, nature and the cosmos. Using a tangible, sensorial and immersive means to connect with the natural world, Pulfer observes the intimate and poetic connections between history, biology and materiality.  ​
